WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.
The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.
There are several noteworthy items on the meeting agenda, including:
- Superintendent Brand will present his bi-monthly update, which will include updates on the Wildwood School Building project, the Town Hall-School Administration Building project, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, the district’s Strategic Plan, audit results, and WPS Field Trip procedures.
- The School Committee will receive a presentation from K-5 STEM Leader Michelle LeVesque on STEM Challenges and K-8 STEM Fair.
- The School Committee will approve a donation in the form of Educator Exploration Grants from the Wilmington Educational Foundation.
- The School Committee will reorganize and discuss subcommittee assignments for the next 12 months. The Committee will also welcome its new member, Michael Mercaldi.
The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports. The Committee’s High School student representatives will also issue their monthly report.
