WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, April 24, 2023 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.
There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:
- The Town Manager will announce his appointments to various boards, committees and commissions. The Select Board will ratify the Town Manager’s appointments to the Commission on Disabilities, Historical Commission and Permanent Building Committee. The Select Board will consider the appointments and reappointments of the Animal Control Officer, the Board of Appeals, the Board of Registrars, the Council for the Arts, the Fence Viewer, Scholarship Fund Committee, Town Counsel, Special Town Counsel and Constables. The Select Board will also consider its own designees to various boards and committees.
- The Select Board will consider approving the renewal of a secondhand dealer license for Robert P. Flaherty Jeweler.
- The Select Board will consider approving a common victualer license for Wilmington House of Pizza.
- The Select Board will consider the request of four schools employees to also work for the Recreation Department this summer.
- The Select Board will receive written updates on Olin, including a treatability report summary and a summary of EPA Informational Meetings.
- The Select Board will receive a written update from the Town Accountant/Finance Director regarding the town’s implementation of MUNIS Financial Software.
- The Select Board will receive a presentation from the Town IT Director on cybersecurity training and multi-factor authentication.
- The Select Board will discuss and assign motions regarding this Saturday’s Annual Town Meeting.
