Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:
WILMINGTON, MA — Robert W. Taylor, “Bob”, age 81, a long-time resident of Wilmington, MA, passed away on April 22, 2023, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Please remember to celebrate a good life that just got called home. An imperfect life of love that touched 9 children, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and so much more. On his path, I met him. We walked and occasionally danced a wonderfully weaved dysfunctional journey on our way to St.Ives…yes, there were wives, kids, several in-laws, and an occasional cat.
I will grieve, you will grieve, but, more importantly, we must celebrate. Promise to try hard not mark his passing as an annual sorrow in your calendars of life. Release him and free yourselves to imprint him on pages of your own stories with a special memory or two. Smile and remember he closed his life with a restored faith and love of family. May he rest in peace.
Bob proudly served in the United States Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era; please remember to pray for those who serve our Country as Bob always did.
Bob was the beloved husband of Andrea M. (Bradley) Taylor, dear son of the late Frank and Marie “Doris” (Roy) Taylor, he is survived by his children Robert Taylor of Germany, Louanne (Taylor) Penney and her late husband David of New Hampshire, David Taylor and his wife Shauna of Lynn, Andrew Paglia of Billerica, Victoria Paglia LaCount of Tewksbury, Regina (Paglia) Ruggiero and her husband Chris of Billerica, Steven Ventre and his wife Jill (Biggins) of Billerica, the late Terrence Wilson Paglia and the late Kim (Taylor) Poland. Bob was the loving “Papa” of several grandkids and great-grandkids. Brother of Nancy Potter of Rowley, the late Frank Taylor, Jr., and the late Roy Taylor.
