Poetry Contest
Be brave, be bold! Pluck up the courage and submit a poem for the 2023 Poetry Contest! All ages can submit a poem, written with the theme Courage in mind, now through April 29th. Please read through our contest rules and information before submitting. Contestants can submit online or print a submission form and bring their poem to the library. If you’re having any trouble, please email us at kids@wilmlibrary.org.
Adult Programs
Bookends Book Group
Monday, April 24, 10am
This book group discusses contemporary books, both fiction and non-fiction, led by Library Associate Rebecca Lowe. Copies of the book are available at the library. The featured book for April is The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams by Stacy Schiff.

VIRTUAL Creative Writing Skills Group
Tuesday, April 25, 7pm
Learn and apply creative writing tips, tools, and techniques shared by published authors and other writing experts. Open to all who want to improve their creative writing skills and get their work published. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras. If you are interested in attending this event, please email the Adult Services Librarian at adultservices@wilmlibrary.org. Please include the title of the program in the subject heading. This event will be held over Zoom. You will receive an invite from the presenter prior to the program date.
Intro to Nature Journaling

Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here for weekly playgroup sessions! Join us for our community playgroup where we will work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Multiplayer Monday

On Monday afternoons in March and April, the Baldwin Room (the small room in Youth with the comfy chairs) will be reserved for teens in grades 6-12 to use the Nintendo Switch with our projector! Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? Join us for a virtual campaign via Discord, a private server, every month with DM Mike! We use D&DBeyond to track and create our characters. Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
