Wilmington Minutemen To Pay Tribute To Revolutionary War Soldiers On April 15 With 2AM March Down Church St. & Musket Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Minutemen will pay tribute to the original 29 men from Wilmington who marched from Wilmington to Concord in April 1775 to fight for the freedom from England and George III this Saturday, April 15, 2023.

The Wilmington Minutemen will gather at the head of the Town Common at 2am on Saturday morning for a brief reflection and march down Church St with a Police Escort down to Route 38, complete with musket firing.

Residents are welcome to line along Church St and remember how the original Wilmington Minutemen were part of the Revolutionary War.
