Adult Programs
Google Docs or Microsoft Office
Monday, April 10, 7pm
Microsoft’s Office products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, aren’t free. However, if you have a GMail account, you have access to Google’s Docs, Sheets, and Slides for free. Come join technology librarian, Brad McKenna, to see if moving over is right for you.
Cookin’ the Books
Tuesday, April 11, 12pm
If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you. Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! The featured cookbook for April is 5 Ingredients by Jamie Oliver.

VIRTUAL Landscaping and Gardening for Wildlife

Do you have a true green thumb? Meaning, are you taking into account the complete ecosystem around the land you care for? Learn how you can support local species by utilizing wildlife-friendly gardening practices in your home, business, and community settings. Simple, easy actions like keeping fall leaves on the ground could have huge effects, and bring in more butterflies, come spring! Learn about what to do, and not do, in your yard, garden, or even container, to support nearby birds, frogs, pollinators, and more in a sustainable fashion.
Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.
VIRTUAL Poetry Circle

Do you enjoy writing poetry? Want input on your work? If so, this group is for you. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials in advance. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras. If you are interested in attending this event, please email the Adult Services Librarian at adultservices@wilmlibrary.org. Please include the title of the program in the subject heading. This event will be held over Zoom. You will receive an invite from the presenter prior to the program date.

Poetry Contest
Be brave, be bold! Pluck up the courage and submit a poem for the 2023 Poetry Contest! All ages can submit a poem, written with the theme Courage in mind, now through April 29th. Please read through our contest rules and information before submitting. Contestants can submit online or print a submission form and bring their poem to the library. If you’re having any trouble, please email us at kids@wilmlibrary.org.
Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
