WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Police Department Detective Christopher Dindo retired this week after 25 years of service to the town.
After graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice from Norwich University, Detective Dindo served as a Court Officer at Lynn District Court from 1990 to 1998. He joined the Wilmington Police Department in March of 1998 and attended the Lowell Police Academy.
Detective Dindo served as a Patrol Officer for 15 years and was appointed as a Detective in 2013. While in the Criminal Bureau, Detective Dindo was involved in countess criminal investigations, but focused primarily on narcotics cases.
Over the last 25 years, Detective Dindo always showed up to work each day with a smile on his face. He will be missed not only professionally, but personally by all that worked with him. Wilmington Police thanks him for his service to the community of Wilmington, congratulates him on a job well done, and wishes him a long and healthy retirement!
