OBITUARY: Victor Wilhelm, 78

WILMINGTON, MA — Victor Wilhelm, age 78, of Wilmington, MA, passed away on March 7, 2023, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

Victor was born on February 5, 1945, in Bavaria, Germany; he was the son of the late Martin and Annie (Cobrenowich) Wilhelm.

Victor is predeceased by his wife Renate (Stendara) Wilhelm and his son Martin Wilhelm, he is survived by his children Monika Zakarian and her husband Roy of Haverhill, MA, Raymond Wilhelm and his wife Kelley of Tennessee, Angelika Maigatter and her husband Mark of Nashua, NH, Suzanne Romano and her husband Louis of Burlington, MA, and Renee Bamberg of Lowell, MA. Victor was the long-time partner of Arlene Marshall of Wilmington. He was the grandfather of Stephanie, Ashley, Colton, Jacob, Samantha, Emily, Leah, Sarah, Chris, Justin, Mikayla and great-grandchildren Savannah, Starling and Martin. Brother of Dago Bare of Arizona and Yvonne Colgate of New Hampshire.

Prior to retiring, Victor, was employed as a Class A Machinist for the Flame Tech Company and later on for the X Loy Company for many years.

Victor enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, maintaining his home and driving his fancy cars.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Saturday, March 11th for Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon with a Service to follow at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in the family lot at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington, MA.
