5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Wednesday, February 22, 2023: Children’s Author Bob Shea Visiting Library; Senior Center To Hold Food Preservation Class

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Wednesday, February 22, 2023:

  • The Wilmington Commission on Disabilities meets in the Town Hall’s Conference Room at 6:30pm. Read the agenda HERE.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding several activities and programs — Blood Pressure (9am); Special Exercise (9:30am); Cards & Games (1pm); Poker (1pm) and Bingo (1pm).   • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting Children’s Author Bob Shea at 6:30pm. Shea, who pained the Children’s Department’s new mural, is the author and illustrator of picture books like, Who Wet My Pants, Chez Bob, Unicorn Thinks He’s Pretty Great, and The Dinosaur Vs. Series!   • The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon.   • The Wilmington Food Pantry is hosting a food distribution night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
