WILMINGTON REC REMINDERS: Spots Still Available For SNL Basketball Clinic & SNL Super Sports Program During School Vacation Week

Instructor: SNL Sports Academy
Grades 4 – 8
Tuesday – Friday, February 21 – 24
9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Middle School Gym

This co-ed program is brought to you by the same team that runs our awesome Flag Football program! A local High School basketball coach will help you improve your basketball skills through fun drills and scrimmages. This active clinic is suitable for all ability levels.


Instructor: SNL Sports Academy
Grades K – 3
Tuesday – Friday, February 21 – 24
1:30 – 3 p.m.
Middle School Gym

This co-ed program will include wiffle ball, soccer, flag football, basketball, floor hockey, dodgeball and more. Each day will focus on two different sports. Players can try new sports and develop existing skills. A great way to spend some winter afternoons!


Instructor: Minds in Motion
Ages: 7 – 11
Tuesdays, February 28 – April 25 (no 4/18), 8 weeks
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Town Hall Auditorium

Do you ever wonder how bridges span huge distances and how skyscrapers stay standing? Learn about basic structural elements and witness firsthand the forces acting on structural components! With your kit, you can build up to 20 model building experiments that each demonstrate a basic principle of mechanical physics or structural engineering in a hands-on way. Learn about the strength of materials as you compete with your classmate to see who can build the tallest tower using the pieces in this kit!
