Youth Programs

INDOOR Lego Day!
Tuesday, February 21, 9am – 5pm
Drop-in for a special day of community Lego set building! Come by the library anytime between 9am-5pm to work together as a family and with other families to dismantle the LEGO Pirate ship from December’s LEGO build and rebuild it into something new at this fun drop-in, day-long event! Grades K-5

INDOOR Taste Test Challenge

INDOOR Bob Shea Picture Book Author Visit!

INDOOR Paying for College 101
Saturday, February 25, 11am
College is one of life’s most significant consumer purchases and financial investments. This workshop seminar will review the process of securing financial aid, eligibility criteria, application steps, and deadlines. The workshop presented by Tom O’Hare, College Advisor, will examine various strategies for meeting college costs, including awarding practices, and the finer details of personal resources, savings, scholarships, merit aid, and need-based financial aid. Grades 6-12

INDOOR Teen Book Club
Saturday, February 25, 2pm
Join us for Teen Book Club during February break. We will be reading The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. Copies will be available for checkout prior to the meeting. Grades 9-12

VIRTUAL D&D
Saturday, February 25, 3pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? Join us for a virtual campaign via Zoom every month with DM Mike! Please register using the email address where you’d like to receive the Zoom invitation (no school emails, please). You will receive the Zoom invitation via email at least an hour before the program begins. You will need to register for an account on D&DBeyond before playing. Minute Madness
It’s tournament time! This year’s Minute Madness competition will be fierce. Can you help us out-read 21 other Massachusetts libraries? Starting March 1, log your reading as we fight for a spot in the Championship. Books, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines and newspapers all count towards our total. See website for details.

Book Store Next Door Winter Hours
The Book Store Next Door will be closed on Wednesdays in February. They are open from 10am – 4pm on Saturdays.

Friends of the Library Jewelry Sale
The Friends of the library are accepting jewelry donations. The next jewelry sale is scheduled for March 31st and April 1st, 2023.

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.

Enjoy knitting or crochet? What about sewing or embroidery? Stop by the library on Fridays at 10am or the first and third Monday of the month at 6:30pm to needlework with others.
