OBITUARY: Lillian G. Esielionis, 95

LONDONDERRY, NH — Lillian G. Esielionis, age 95, of Londonderry, NH and former longtime resident of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was the beloved wife for 73 years of the late Frank W. Esielionis. Born in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antosie (Benusis) George.

Lillian was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She worked for over twenty years as a clothing stylist for the Marshalls Corp. prior to her retirement. Lillian was a resident of Londonderry, NH for the last three years and previously was a resident of Wilmington, MA for 67 years living in the same home on Ridge Road. Devoted to her family, Lillian was happiest when she was surrounded by those she loved. She cherished her children and grandchildren and always kept close in touch with her siblings, some of which she was like a second mother to. In her leisure time she enjoyed listening to music, especially the music of Elvis Presley. She was a master of the jig saw puzzle and also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino to try her luck. She will be greatly missed.

Lillian is survived by her children; David Esielionis and his wife Vonnie, Paul Esielionis and his wife Anna, Jeanne Longo and her husband Jim, all of Londonderry, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Matt and Tara Esielionis, Claire and Anthony Esielionis, Gemma Longo, Larry Longo and his wife Taylor. Sister of Bobby George, Paul George, Midge Botelho, Ann Richardson, Carol Crossman, Johnny George, the late Florence Blamy, Dottie McGowan, Rita Rose, Marie Clough, Edna Norton, and Anthony George. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, February 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church 851 Main St., Woburn, at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lillian’s memory to Catholic Television, PO Box 9196, 34 Chestnut St., Watertown, MA 02471.
