WILMINGTON, MA — Susan L. Schuurman, “Sue”, age 58, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Jan 21, 2023, with her devoted and loving husband, Kenneth by her side.
Sue and Kenny had an amazing marriage that just was not long enough! Take a minute to listen to “All of Me” by John Legend (their song) and you will know how happy they were, true soul mates.
Sue’s mother, Marie Therese (Langlais) Vecchione preceded her in death and not a day went by that Sue did not miss her.
Her loving father, Theodore Vecchione and Stepmother Rachel survive her.
She was the beloved sister to David (Ann) Courtois, Dennis Courtois (Tammy MacLeod), Jamie (Carrie) Vecchione, and the adoring “Aunty” to her nephews and nieces.
Cherished Sister-in-Law to Vincent, Steven, Anthony, Francis and Laura, “Bonus Mother” to Alicia and Joey and a Bonus Mémerè.
Sue’s passion was her family and friends, trips to Foxwoods, shopping, jewelry, high heels and she and her Mom were Marathon Mall Shoppers.
She enjoyed her work for many years in Contracts for Smith and Nephew, Phillips and Hewlett Packard.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St Dorothy’s Church, Main St., Wilmington, MA at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
We would like to thank the staff at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington for their compassionate care of Sue and her family.
