Details On Proposed Development At Sciarappa Farm On Andover St. To Be Unveiled At December 12 Select Board Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, December 12, 2022 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.

An Executive Session precedes the meeting at 6pm.

There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:

  • Jay Doherty, the CEO of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, will unveil details of a proposed development at 333 Andover Street (Sciarappa Farm).
  • Town Engineer Paul Alunni will provide an update on the Lowell Street/Woburn Street Transportation Improvement Project and the acquisition of easements. The Select Board will authorize the Town Manager to issue written offer letters for easement acquisitions.
  • Assistant Town Manager Susan Inman will discuss the Verizon FiOS Cable License Renewal. The Select Board will consider executing the license renewal.
  • The Select Board will consider executing the agreement between the Town of Wilmington and AFSCME Local 1703 Unit 1.
  • The Select Board will receive written communication on: Baldwin Landing Project Eligibility & Site Approval; Certification of the FY23 tax rate; MassWorks Grant Public Infrastructure Project update; Bond Anticipation Note for Senior Center and Town Hall/School Administration building projects; and Lifeguard recruitments for Town Beach 2023 Season.
  • The Select Board will consider authorizing fees for sealer of weights and measures.
  • The Select Board will consider the request of the WHS Class of 2023 to the use Swain Green for a Senior BBQ on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 10am to 2pm.
  • The Select Board will consider the approval of the 2023 licenses for alcoholic beverages, automatic amusement, billiard room, Class I vehicle sales, Class II vehicle sales, common victualer, and entertainment. The Board will also consider executing the ABCC’s 2023 seasonal population increase estimation form, and consider issuing a Sunday Entertainment License to K1 Speed.

The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and www.wctv.org.
