New Class Of Middlesex Assistant District Attorneys Sworn In

WOBURN, MA – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced the swearing in of the 2022 new class of Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) formed by fourteen recently graduated lawyers. The class was sworn in on November 21, 2022. The class includes: Steve Loughlin, First Assistant to the District Attorney; Andrew Mange, Allston, MA; Christy Salzman, Brighton, MA; Kaylie Daniels, Cambridge, MA; Leon Rotenstein, Waltham, MA; Joanah Perkins, Boston, MA; Alfred Spencer, Boston MA; Travis Belmore, Quincy, MA; Alice Casey, Chief of District Courts; Jessica Fleet, Hopkinton, MA; Alexandra Kelly, Boston, MA; Nicole Zacharias, Burlington, MA; Isabelle Bertolozzi, Boston, MA; Jordan Paurowski, Waltham, MA; Dhiral Patel, Somerville, MA; and Julien Gelly, Brookline, MA.

The new class of ADAs participated in the Middlesex New Prosecutors Orientation and Training Program. This extensive training provides the ADAs with the skills and knowledge necessary to reduce recidivism and create healthier communities through crime prevention and intervention initiatives such as restorative justice, pre-arraignment diversion, juvenile court and community policing. The training also included discussions with prosecutors, defense attorneys, paralegals and victim-witness advocates about systemic racism, bail policy, community impacts on law enforcement and criminal law.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office serves the largest county in New England, covering 54 cities and towns across 12 district courts, 4 juvenile courts and 2 superior courts. The office’s core mission is to protect and serve the people who work, live and raise their families in Middlesex County, while being committed to innovative crime prevention and intervention initiatives. The office regularly partners with community groups, social service providers, medical professionals, private industry leaders and law enforcement officials to address a variety of public safety issues.
