Dear Editor,
Imagine walking through a set of double doors and being greeted with a warm smile. Then you walk down the sun splashed hallway and have a fresh cup of coffee at the café. You head out to the patio to sit in the treed landscape or sit in the climate-controlled lounge area and chat with friends.
After a while, you go to Tai-Chi, Zumba, Yoga or Dance class for an hour and finish off with a brisk walk on the treadmill or use the hiking path.
Lunch is served in a welcoming multi-function room, followed by an hour of reading in the Quiet Activities Room. Later in the afternoon there is a chance to get your blood pressure checked and listen to a lecture on Health and Nutrition.
You don’t have to imagine it…you can make the dream become a reality! Vote YES for a new Senior Center for Wilmington residents. Attend the Special Town Meeting on Saturday, November 19, 2022. See you there!
