OBITUARY: Geraldine A. Elmore, 90

BILLERICA, MA — Geraldine A. Elmore, age 90, wife of the late John M. Elmore, died peacefully Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital with her family at her side.

She was born in Cambridge, MA, August 11, 1932, daughter of the late Daniel H. and Catherine G. (Reardon) Kane. She was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, PA, Class of 1949 and attended Franklin Pierce Business School. She lived in Swarthmore, PA before moving to Billerica, MA in 1967 where she was a longtime Communicant of St. Theresa Church.

Prior to her retirement, Geraldine worked at Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, MA and MACOM in Burlington, MA.

She is survived by her children, Denyse Duclos and her husband John of Nashua, Steven Elmore and his wife Deborah of Billerica and Lori Ann Toce and her husband Frank of Billerica; her nine grandchildren, Jonathan Duclos and his wife Nicole, Jillian Duclos, Sean Elmore and his wife Rachel, Connor Elmore, Brooke Elmore, Jack, Lyndsey, Kyle and Audrey Toce and her two great-grandchildren, Caroline Elmore and John Duclos. She was also the mother of the late Sean C. Elmore and was the sister of the late Daniel H. Kane Jr. and Denyse R. Boland.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Geraldine’s son to the Sean C. Elmore Memorial Fund, 10, Schoolhouse Lane, Billerica, MA 01821. Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
