LIBRARY LINEUP: All Residents Invited To Welcome To Wilmington Reception On Oct. 17; Afternoon Concert On Oct. 20

WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a list of FREE upcoming programs for adults, teens and kids at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

Registration begins 30 days prior to the event. Please register online using our Calendar of Events at www.wilmlibrary.org or by calling (978) 694-2099 (for Adult) or (978) 694-2098 (for Children/Teen). Please note we request registration for programs that are marked *RR. Thank you to the Friends of the Library for funding support for library programs!

The library will be closed on Monday, October 10 in observance of Columbus Day.

Adult Programs

INDOOR Welcome to Wilmington Reception
Monday, October 17, 6pm
Hello, neighbor! Please drop in on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Wilmington Memorial Library for our annual reception for new residents. Registration encouraged. Meet representatives from town government, schools, churches, and community organizations. Learn about services, programs, volunteer opportunities, etc. Pick up your Chamber Welcome Bag. Meet other new residents. Take a chance on our prize wheel. Bring ID to get your WML card! Hosted by Wilmington Memorial Library and the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce.

This week’s topic (October 19) covers LinkedIn and Personal Branding.

INDOOR Afternoon Concert: Kat & Brad
Thursday, October 20, 2:30pm
Drawing from 50s and 60s pop, American Songbook standards, and much more, this vibrant duo channels and fuses these influences through two voices, a guitar, and violin to bring you a mixture of original songs and dusted off covers from the past. The two consist of Brad Bensko on Vocals and Guitar, and Kathleen Parks (of Twisted Pine) on Vocals, and Five-Stringed Fiddle.

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie.

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
