WILMINGTON REC REMINDERS: Adult Tap Lessons & Yoga For The Full-Figured Woman Both Begin October 17

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:

Two of our adult programs are starting in just a few weeks and still have availability! If you haven’t tried tap or yoga before and have been thinking about it, these are the perfect classes to start with.


Instructor: Meghan Sullivan
Mondays, October 17 – November 28 (no 10/31), 6 weeks
8 – 9 p.m.
Legacy Studios, 1 Burlington Ave.

Dance just like the American classics! Learn basic tap steps and fun combinations week to week. Tons of fun while you get in shape. Perfect for beginners or returning students! TAP SHOES ARE REQUIRED


Instructor: Jennifer Ryan
Mondays, October 17 – December 12 (no 10/31), 8 weeks
4 – 5 p.m.
The Yoga Loft, 5 Waltham St.

This class introduces beginners to yoga in a fun and relaxed setting. Movements are modified for a non-intimidating approach to improving your health. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and wear comfortable clothes.
