POLICE LOG for September 23: Bear Sighting; Dog Attack; Stolen Bike; More Catalytic Converters Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, September 23, 2022:
  • Police issued a citation for failure to stop for a school bus at Glen Road and Middlesex Avenue. (7:07am)
  • A caller reported seeing a bear in North Reading, at Old Andover Road and Larson Road. (7:51am)
  • A caller reported while walking her dog on Phillips Avenue this morning, a German Shepard came running and attached her, her husband and her dog. (9:22am)
  • Catalytic converters were stolen from work vehicles at 3 Step Sports on Industrial Way. (10:12am)
  • DPW notified that 30 MPH sign on Adams Street was knocked over. (10:23am)
  • A caller reported a gray Schwinn bicycle was taken from his Woburn St. driveway, sometime between September 6 and September 19. (10:25am)
  • A customer called 911 reporting a dispute with a CVS employee over a gift card she purchased. Police responded. Issue was cleared up. (1:44pm)
