POLICE LOG for September 22: Garage Struck By Lightening; Catalytic Converters Stolen; Shoplifting At CVS

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, September 22, 2022:
  • A man on Jewel Drive flagged down a police officer stating 2 catalytic converters were stolen within the past 10 days. (6:41am)
  • A Woburn St. caller reported his detached garage was possibly struck by lightening. Fire Department and Police Department responded. Road was shut down. RMLD notified. (10:00am)
  • A news van was parked on the Town Common sidewalk. Police advised them to move into parking lot. (4:03pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Shawsheen Avenue. Both vehicles towed. Both operators refused medical care. (4:52pm)
  • Police responded to report of shoplifter at CVS. (10:19pm)
