Select Board To Discuss Branding Tagline For Town; Wildwood Building Project; Veterans Services; Changes On Lowell St. & More At TONIGHT’s Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, September 26, 2022 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.

There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:

  • The Select Board will hear another presentation from Economic Development Committee Chair Mike Champoux and Thomas Stirling, of Stirling Brandworks, regarding a town branding and marketing project.
  • The Select Board will hear a presentation from Veterans Director Lou Cimaglia regarding the Promise To Address Comprehensive Toxins (PACT) Act.
  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on the National Development site work at 175 Lowell Street and sewer line relocation at 205 and 207 Lowell Street.
  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on the Wildwood School Building Committee’s latest meeting.
  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on creating a request for services for an OPM for the Wildwood School.
  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will also provide information about the Town’s Annual Clean-Up Day; RMLD’s National Public Power Week; and a Community Update from Olin.
  • The Select Board will consider a request to change the manager of the All-Alcohol License of Tremezzo.
  • The Select Board will consider a request of the Town Clerk to finalize the Early Voting schedule for the State Election.
  • The Select Board will consider signing a Purchase & Sale Agreement, and deed, regarding the sale of town-owned land on Lake Street.
  • The Select Board will consider a request of the WHS Girls Basketball program to use the Municipal Parking Lot to conduct a Car Wash fundraiser on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 10am to 1pm.

The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and www.wctv.org.
