5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Monday, September 19, 2022: Substance Abuse Coalition’s Candlelight Vigil On Town Common; Ice Rink Committee Meeting At Town Hall

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Monday, September 19, 2022:

  • Residents are invited to attend the 7th Annual Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition’s Candlelight Vigil at 6:30pm on the Town Common. The vigil gives residents of Wilmington and surrounding communities an opportunity to remember those they have lost to the disease of addiction, celebrate those who are living healthy lives once again, and to come together to reduce the stigma associated with addiction. Special guest speakers will include Select Board Chair Judy O’Connell, Police Chief Joseph Desmond, Wilmington High’s Soundscape, and 2 local individuals in recovery. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Ice Rink & Recreation Facility Committee meets at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall. Read the agenda HERE.
  • Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 361 is holding an Open House from 6pm to 8pm at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street).
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a Community Playgroup for Ages 0 to 8 at 10am. Learn more & register HERE.
