WILMINGTON, MA — The Town will collect leaves and grass clippings placed in biodegradable paper bags or uncovered barrels at curbside on regular trash collection days during the weeks of October 24, October 31, November 14, November 28, and December 5.
The Recycling Center, located off Old Main Street at the Wilmington/Woburn line, will be open for leaf and brush drop-off in accordance with the following schedule:
- October 5, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- October 8, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- October 12, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- October 15, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- October 19, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- October 22, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- October 26, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- October 29, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- November 2, 2022 ( Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- November 5, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- November 9, 2022 (Thurs – 8am to 2pm)
- November 12, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- November 16, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- November 19, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- November 23, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- November 26, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
- November 30, 2022 (Wed – 8am to 2pm)
- December 3, 2022 (Sat – 9am to 4pm)
The yardwaste center on Old Main Street will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays during selected dates for the drop-off of leaves and brush. Residents will need to purchase a punch-card for $15 in order to enter the yardwaste center. Punch-cards will be available for purchase through the Collector’s Office at Town Hall and will allow up to 5 vehicle trips to the yardwaste center per card. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS OR STUMPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Commercial vehicles will not be allowed. Make sure to bring photo identification to show you are a Wilmington resident.
