Stan was born on April 22, 1943, in Lynn, MA; he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Krzywicki) Dancewicz. He was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical with the Class of 1960.
Stan married the love of his life, Joan Marie (Dore) Dancewicz on September 14, 1963; they settled in Wilmington, where they raised their three children, Stanley III, Joseph, and Kathleen. He commuted from Wilmington to Rockport seven days a week, never missing a day. Stan enjoyed conversations with his “regulars” and worked hard to make sure the restaurant ran smoothly. He opened a second store, Sports Cards & Posters in Peabody, where he could share his love of collectibles and memorabilia.
Stan was a devoted husband; he enjoyed bringing Joan roses & fresh flowers, traveling, going on cruises, and having fun at the casinos with her.
In his spare time, Stan loved to work in his garden; his homemade raspberry jam and relish were family favorites. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
