HYBRID Diversity Equity and Inclusion Book Group
Monday, July 25, 7pm
This group continues the work started with the library’s antiracism series. Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. Featured Book: The Making of Asian America: A History by Erika Lee. Chapters for this meeting: Chapter 13 – Chapter 15 (74 pages)

Bestselling author B.A. Shapiro will discuss her new book, “Metropolis: A Novel,” in this Zoom webinar.

INDOOR Waterfalls of the White Mountains
Thursday, July 28, 7pm
Come along for a guided tour of the beautiful Waterfalls of the White Mountains with author Bruce Bolnick. The tour includes a sampling of favorite waterfalls, roadside gems, backcountry treasures, great swimming holes, and other scenic treasures of the north country. The presentation also features anecdotes about the process of producing the book, and some fascinating history of the White Mountain region.

OUTDOOR Music with Dara
Monday, July 25, 10am
With keyboard, felt board, finger puppets, and engaging visual props, Dara weaves songs (old and new favorites), fingerplays, rhythmic activities/simple instrument playing, and creative movement for a fun-filled musical 30-45 minute program. Lots of clapping, marching, singing, creative expression and FUN! Ages 2-5

Tuesday, July 26, 7pm
Play a number of board games under the guidance of gaming enthusiast Scot Crispin. All are welcome. Ages 12+

INDOOR Family Craft Night: Wood Signs
Wednesday, July 27, 6:30pm
Learn how to DIY your own wooden sign for your room or as a gift! Grades K+ with caregivers

Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? Join our DM for a virtual campaign! Grades 6-8

Summer Reading Program – Earn Prizes & Enter Raffles all Summer!

Read Beyond the Beaten Path, the library’s all-ages annual summer reading program is underway! Register on the library’s website at – or in person. You can earn prizes by just reading a few minutes each day. Read 15 days this summer and receive a free book. Read 30 days and take home a handheld fan/flashlight or a coupon for a free ice cream at Dandilyons. Each day that you read, or complete one of 10 fun activities, you will earn a ticket for one of our special raffles. Prizes include: a four-person membership to the New England Aquarium, a $150 gift card to Nashoba Valley, a $100 gift card to REI or drive-in movie tickets. You can earn 60+ tickets if you read every day and complete all the activities!

Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
