Wilmington Public Schools To Hold Robotics & CAD Enrichment Courses For Grades 7-12 This Summer

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools is holding two summer enrichment courses next week.

CAD (Computer Aided Design)
Dates: July 11-15
Times: 10:30-12:00

Grades: Entering 7-12
Cost: $115

Students will learn how to design and create 3D objects within the TinkerCAD software. Students will also learn how to operate the “Flashforge Creator Pro 3D Printer.” Then, they will be able to print their designs on the 3D printer.

Intro to FTC Robotics
Dates: July 11-15
Times: 7:45-10:15

Grades: Entering 7-12
Cost: $190

Students will work in collaborative teams and learn how to build and code a basic robot. The teams will come up with a design for their robot and then program the robot to complete some simple tasks. This is a great intro course to the field of Robotics.
