WILMINGTON, MA — Doreen N. (Cataldo) McNeil, age 84, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 26, 2022.
Doreen was the beloved wife of Harvey McNeil, devoted mother of Paul McNeil and wife Sheila of Tewksbury, Cheryl Briere of Reading, Lance McNeil and companion Andrea Scardino of Wilmington, Mark McNeil and wife Susan of Tewksbury and loving mother-in-law of the late Jo Ann McNeil. Cherished “Nana” of Amanda Briere and partner Meghan Bildner, Christopher Briere and wife Mackenzie, Debra McNeil, Ryan McNeil and fiancé Britini Chandler, Kathryn McNeil and fiancé Jordan Shartar, Stephen McNeil and Taylor McNeil. Dear daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Gustafson) Cataldo, sister of Marjorie and her late husband Louis Generazzo of Lynnfield, sister-in-law of Max and Mary Jane McNeil of Andover, special aunt of Jill Juliano, Susan Generazzo, Rick McNeil, Amy McNeil, Jason McNeil, the late Jeff McNeil and their families.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Thursday, July 7th for Visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon followed by a Service to celebrate Doreen’s life at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Doreen’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
