5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Friday, June 10, 2022: Senior Center To Hold Zumba, Yoga, Sewing & Poker

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Friday, June 10, 2022:

  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a meeting of its Needleworkers Group at 10am. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding Zumba at 9am; Sewing at 9:30am; Chair Yoga at 12:30pm; and Poker at 1pm. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
  • Attention WHS Class of 2022! WCTV would like to congratulate all the graduates in the class of 2022! WCTV was fortunate to be at the graduation and several other events surrounding the close of the school year. If you missed any of these events or would like a copy, here’s a list of pricing for the events we have available to purchase. You may request a DVD or Thumb Drive. For a DVD or Thumb Drive of the Graduation it’s $15.00. For a DVD or Thumb drive that contains the Graduation, Prom, Awards Night and the Promenade, its $40.00 To purchase your copy of these special events we covered please contact WCTV’s Youth and Media Director, Ashley Stevens at: ashley@wctv.org.
  • Registration is open for 2022-2023 for Faith Formation, Parish of the Transfiguration for grades 1-10. Registration forms can be found on the Parish Website: www.Parishofthetransfiguration.org, Faith formation tab. Please do not let finances stop you from registering.
