Below is a press release from Monteforte Law P.C.:
WILMINGTON, MA — Michael Monteforte Jr., owner of Monteforte Law P.C., of Wilmington, has once again awarded four scholarships to Wilmington High School seniors. The scholarship, called “The Albert Iamelli Sportsmanship & Scholarship Award,” was granted to student athletes at Wilmington High School.
Attorney Monteforte created this scholarship in memory of his grandfather, Albert Iamelli, to honor his life and his legacy. Albert was a football reference and baseball umpire for high school sports all over New England. He was the head referee for football games and was very proud of that designation.
Albert was also president of both New England Football Officials and Baseball Officials. To honor him, Monteforte Law, P.C. funds four scholarships, each year to a student-athlete. The winners of the scholarship are four dedicated student athletes who will be graduating from Wilmington High School this spring!
Congratulations to the following students:
- Rita Roche who will be attending Merrimack College
- William Doucette who will be attending Northeastern University
- Madison Mulas who will be attending Springfield College
- Joey Cornish who will be attending Fitchburg State University
“Here at Monteforte Law, P.C. we are so excited to see what the future holds for the four winners! Congratulations to those who won and thank you to these who applied!”
