LAS VEGAS — UFC Fight Pass, the world’s leading streaming service for combat sports, today announced a new multi-event deal with Combat FC, a mixed martial arts promotion showcasing up-and-coming talent from the Boston area. The first event will stream live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass on Friday, June 17, at 9 p.m. ET from the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Combat FC, formerly World Fighting Championship, was established in 2007 and has held 11 events to date, with a focus on developing talent. Notable UFC athletes who have begun their careers with Combat FC include former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and No. 4-ranked featherweight Calvin Kattar.

The inaugural event under the Combat FC banner takes place live from Wilmington, Massachusetts and features Dana White’s Contender Series participant Rico DiSciullo (10-2) against Gareth De la Cruz (7-3) in a 140-pound catchweight bout. Also on the card is fellow Dana White’s Contender Series competitor Tim Caron (10-5), who will be taking on Salaiman Ahmadyar (7-2) in a middleweight matchup.
