What’s Open & Closed In Wilmington On Memorial Day?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a basic overview of what’s open and closed in Wilmington on Memorial Day (Monday, May 30, 2022):

The Veterans’ Services Department is pleased to announce that Wilmington’s Memorial Day Parade will be on Monday, May 30 at 10am. At 11am, a ceremony will be held at the Wildwood Cemetery to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

  • Town, State & Federal Offices: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Memorial Library: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Senior Center: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Trash Collection: NONE (Monday’s collection will take place on Tuesday, Tuesday’s collection will take place on Wednesday, etc.)
  • Post Office: CLOSED
  • Banks: CLOSED
  • Grocery Stores: OPEN
    • Market Basket: 7am-9pm
    • Lucci’s: 8am-6pm
    • Elia’s Country Store: 8am-7pm (liquor sales: noon-7pm)
  • Liquor Stores: OPEN
  • Convenience Stores: OPEN
  • Retail Stores: OPEN (at owner’s discretion)
  • Restaurants & Bars: OPEN (at owner’s discretion)
  • MBTA: Operating on a Sunday schedule
