Wilmington Senior Center Invites Seniors To Ukulele Class On June 1, 8 & 15

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Senior Center:

WILMINGTON, MA — Want to try an instrument that is fun and easy to play? Join Julie Stepanek as she shows the fundamentals of ukulele playing.

You’ll learn how to tune, strum and read chords After a short lesson, you’ll be able to play songs. No experience necessary. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one of hers.

Julie is a singer, songwriter and musician. Originally from Nebraska, she now makes her home in a pine forest in western Massachusetts and for the last 16 years has been teaching and making music at libraries, schools and senior centers throughout New England.

This is a three-part ukulele class on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 1pm; Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1pm; and Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 1pm.
