WILMINGTON, MA — The Abundant Life Christian School eighth-grade class recently returned from a four-day trip to our nation’s capital. From April 4th to the 7th, the students toured well-known Washington, DC sites such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the United States Holocaust Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery as well as many other DC sites. The trip tied together their year’s studies of the roots and foundations of U.S. democracy and the role of individuals in maintaining a healthy democracy. Despite a few flight delays on their return trip to Boston, all of the students agreed that they “had a blast” in our nation’s capital.
Abundant Life Christian School is a private Christian school located in the heart of Wilmington, Massachusetts. They enroll students from over twenty local Massachusetts and New Hampshire communities from infancy through eighth grade. Since 1982, ALCS has delivered on its mission to Glorify God in partnership with families and churches to equip students as leaders who think critically, grow spiritually, and develop relationally. From a Biblical worldview, they prepare the whole student with quality instruction and individual attention to empower them to reach their full potential and serve the greater community.
