5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, March 20, 2022: Huge Arts & Crafts Festival At Shriners

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, March 20, 2022:

  • The Spring Castleberry Fair Arts & Crafts Festival will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 10am to 4pm, at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Over 150 Juried artisans from throughout New England will display and sell their American made works; including Pottery, Fine Art, Original Watercolors, Slate, Fine Jewelry, Tile, Wearable Art, Primitives, Folk Art, Intarsia, Soft Sculpture, Country Wood Crafts, Wind Chimes, Painted Stemware, Florals, Vintage Chic, Pewter, Leather, Candles, Mixed Media, Pillow Quilts, Basketry, Metal Sculpture, Garden Art, Custom Signs, Shell Craft, Decoupage, Aroma-Therapy, Photography, Stained Glass, Fiber Art, Personal Care and more. A “food sampling” extravaganza will be presented with such specialty delights as Herbal Dips, Fudge, Marinades, Roasted Nuts, Pickles, Jams & Jellies, Salsas, Hot Sauces, Honey, Olive Oils, Fine Chocolates, Balsamic Vinegars, Soup Mixes, Gluten Free Baked Goods, Wine Slushy Mixes, Garlic Salts and more. Admission costs $8. Children 14 years of age are free. One admission is good for both days. Parking is free.

  • The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
  • Wilmington Police Officers are being issued special badges to commemorate the department’s 150th Anniversary. Based on a 1920’s WPD badge, the badges are for our sworn officers only, but  commemorative patches are now for sale to the public at the front desk of the police station. Patches can be purchased for $10 each (cash only).
