OBITUARY: Steve Robbins, 60

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Steve Robbins, age 60, of Hooksett, NH, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2022.

Steve was born on December 8, 1961, in Enfield, CT; he was the cherished son of the late Thomas W. and Donna Lee Robbins. Steve was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1980. He lived in Wilmington until 2017, before relocating to Hooksett.

Following graduation, Steve went to work as a carpenter; he was very talented and enjoyed home improvement projects. Steve had the ability to visualize home renovations and took his time to thoroughly complete each job. He went to work for Kraft Industries in Woburn for many years, where he shared his building talents.

Steve had a passion for the “Wild West”; he enjoyed collecting cowboy memorabilia and watching old western movies. Steve was a recreational shooter and looked forward to his visits at the shooting range. In his younger years, Steve had a motorcycle and took rides on the bike every chance he could.

Steve will be remembered as a nice, quiet guy. He loved animals, especially his two dogs. He will be missed by his family.

Steve was the dear brother of William Robbins & his wife Candace of North Hampton, NH, and Richard Robbins & his wife Marti of Deerfield, NH, loving uncle of Katlyn Robbins, dear nephew of George Robbins of Townsend, Stephen Robbins and his wife Susan of Wilmington, Sandra Laliberte and her late husband Ron of Wilmington, Michael Dupras of Tewksbury, and the late Daniel Dupras. Steve is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service for Steve will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations in Steve’s name may be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
