TWOSday Raffle

Tuesday, February 22, 2:22pm

Join in the TWOSday fun while learning about library services.  Pick up a “two-do” list at the library or print one from the website.  For each two things you do on the list, you earn a raffle ticket. Bring your list to the library to pick up your earned raffle tickets. Raffle will be drawn on 2-22-22 at 2:22pm for a dinner for what else—two! (Local restaurant gift card, $50 value).

VIRTUAL Creative Writing Skills Group

Tuesday, February 22, 7pm

Learn and apply creative writing tips, tools, and techniques shared by published authors and other writing experts. Open to all who want to improve their creative writing skills and get their work published.  Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.

INDOOR Well Read Wednesday Book Group

Wednesday, February 23, 10am

This book group discusses contemporary books, both fiction and non-fiction, led by Library Director Tina Stewart. Featured book: Born a Crime by Trevor Noah

HYBRID Social Justice Book Group

Wednesday, February 23, 7pm

This group continues the work started with the library’s antiracism series. Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. Featured Book: An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. Chapters for this meeting: Chapters 10-Conclusion (59 Pages)

VIRTUAL Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee

Thursday, February 24, 7pm

Professor Laura E. Nym Mayhall will speak to Queen Elizabeth’s legacy in light of her 70 years on the throne.

INDOOR Needleworkers

Friday, February 25, 10am – 12pm

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie—drop in. Everyone is welcome!

Used Jewelry Donations Being Accepted

In preparation for the Friends Gently Used Jewelry Sale on April 8 & 9, the library will be collecting donations of your used jewelry now through March 18. Please drop off donations at the front desk. We appreciate your support!

INDOOR Read to Thor

Come read to Thor, a beautiful dog who loves to listen to kids read! Sign up for one 15 minute session per reader.

INDOOR TWOSday Trivia and Dance Party!

This TWOSday is February 22nd, making it 2-22-2022! Celebrate the wonderful world of duos with trivia about all things 2 followed by a celebratory dance party! All Ages

Stuffed Animal Sleepover – Drop off!

Wednesday, February 23, 9am – 5pm

Bring your stuffed animal to the library so they can have an overnight adventure! When you drop off your stuffie, anytime between 9-5 on Wednesday, you’ll fill out a contact info form for them and make them a name tag. Then, you’ll leave your friend here overnight and come pick them up anytime on Thursday! We’ll take lots of photos of all the adventures we have together so you can see what happens at the library after hours! All Ages. One toy per child.

INDOOR LEGO Day

Friday, February 25, 9am – 5pm

Join us for a special day of LEGO building! Drop by the library anytime between 9am-5pm and help us build a big LEGO set together! Grades K-5

VIRTUAL Teen Book Club

Friday, February 25, 4pm

This month’s Teen Book Club will discuss One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus. Copies will be available at the library to check out prior to our meeting. Grades 9-12

VIRTUAL Tween Bullet Journaling

Saturday, February 26, 2pm

Want to get started with bullet journaling? Betsy and Shannon of Casual Study will be teaching techniques virtually to have fun with organization! Registrants will receive a bullet journal. Ages 8-12

WML In-Person Programming

Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are required required inside Town buildings regardless of vaccination status. 

WML Virtual Programming

The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.

Open Saturdays only in January & February, 10am – 4pm
Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2.
The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
