POLICE LOG for December 26: Driver Issued Summons After Taking Out 3 Mailboxes; Highway Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, December 26, 2021:

• State Police and Fire Department responded to 2-vehicle crash on 93 South, near Exit 35. Airbags deployed. EMS requested. (1:56pm)
• A caller reported an erratic operator traveling on Route 62. Police located vehicle in question parked in a driveway. Woman who answered door appeared fine and did not want to speak with officers. (9:41pm)
• Matthew Ryan Rideout (22, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle and Speeding. A Salem Street caller reported that, 3-5 minutes ago, a vehicle took out 3 of his neighbor’s mailboxes. Piece of the car was left at the crash scene. Car headed towards Tewksbury. Police were able to view the caller’s Ring camera footage. (11:49pm)
