POLICE LOG for December 25: Icy Road Conditions Leads To Many Crashes On Christmas Morning

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, December 25, 2021:
  • A resident a Metro at Wilmington Station apartments reported seeing a man on her second floor porch. Man described as dark-skinned with a baseball cap and jacket. Police were unable to locate. (2:01am)
  • Police notified DPW that roads were in need of salt and sand. (8:04am) More than 10 vehicle crashes were reported in the police log throughout the morning. 
  • A caller reported 2 vehicles crashed in front of his house on Aldrich Road. Both vehicles left but his mailbox is damaged. (9:05am)
  • A car struck a tree on Shawsheen Avenue. No injuries. (9:08am)
  • A car struck a large rock on Harnden Street. No injuries. (9:17am)
  • A West Street caller reported a white Lincoln struck his rock wall at approximately 3pm. (5:36pm)
