OBITUARY: Brian A. Churchill, 80

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Brian A. Churchill, age 80, of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021.

Born on November 11, 1941, in Greenfield, MA; son of the late Robert C. and Isabel M. (Gilchrest) Churchill. He lived in Colrain, MA, in the Berkshires of Western, MA. At age 6, the family moved to Medford, MA, where he was raised, educated, and graduated for Medford High School Class of 1959.

Prior to retiring, he was employed as a mechanical designer for GCA Vacuum Industries in Somerville, MA, the Company relocated to Nashua, NH.

In his spare time, he enjoyed nature walks through Ipswich at Castle Hill, Crane’s Beach, Magnolia and Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Much of nature was caught through the lens of his camera.

Brian was the beloved husband of Barbara (Mosby) Churchill, married 59 years. Predeceased by son Scott and brother Keith, survived by daughter Kelly Churchill of Punta Gorda, FL, brother Neil Churchill and sister Gail Wallace & husband Jack all of Medford, MA, sister-in-law of Susan (Mosby) Couturier of Swansea, MA and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

At the family’s request, all services will be private at this time.
