WILMINGTON, MA — Richard P. McCauley, “Rick”, age 77, of Wilmington, passed away on December 18, 2021.
Rick was the son of the late John J. McCauley, Sr. and Alice M. (Jewell) McCauley, dear brother of John J. McCauley, Jr. & his wife Carolyn of Burlington and Mary S. McCauley of Wilmington, uncle of Maureen E. McCauley, Cathleen A. Pigott & her husband Paul and Tracey A. McCauley, great-uncle of Nicole Pigott, Ryan Pigott and Alexandra Pietrunti. Rick is also survived by many loving cousins.
Rick proudly served in the United States Air Force for more than twenty-one years.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte.62), Wilmington, on Wednesday, December 29th from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Veterans Section of Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
Memorial donations in Rick’s name may be made to Local Heroes, P.O. Box 536, Wilmington, MA 01887. At the family’s request, all guests attending services are asked to wear masks.
