WILMINGTON, MA — William F. “Bill” Kennedy, age 84, of Wilmington, formerly a long-time resident of Arlington, passed away on November 14, 2021.
Bill was born on October 1, 1937, in Boston, MA; he was the son of the late William and Regina (Kelly) Kennedy. Bill was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica High School.
Following graduation, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy on August 30, 1955. He proudly served for three years. Bill was honorably discharged on September 22, 1958 and returned home to his family.
Bill worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local for many years before retiring.
Bill’s family was most important to him; he enjoyed spending time with them at holidays, cookouts and watching countless baseball games.
Bill will be remembered as a wonderful brother and uncle; he will truly be missed.
Bill was the dear brother of Janet Williams & her late husband Bob of Wilmington, Joan Windham & her husband Nat, late Robert Kennedy & his wife Jane all of Billerica and the late Regina Tomyl. Bill is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
At the family’s request, Funeral Services for Bill will be private.
