Below is a press release from We’re One Wilmington:

WILMINGTON, MA — The opening of the 11th We’re One Wilmington (WOW) Festival of Trees begins next week! You won’t want to miss this year’s Festival, which features over a hundred holiday trees, wreaths and basket raffles known for their creativity, beauty, and spectacular prizes. The event will be hybrid this year: online continuously from Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 9 am through Sunday, December 5, 2021, at noon and in-person on Friday, Dec. 3rd, 9 am – 9pm, Saturday, Dec. 4th, 9 am – 9 pm, and Sunday, Dec. 5th 9 am – noon.

Attending In-Person

The in-person portion of the festival opens on Friday, December 3, from 9 am until 9 pm. The free family event continues Saturday, December 4, from 9 am to 9 pm, and Sunday, from 9 am to 12 noon. Because COVID is on the rise again, capacity may need to be limited during peak hours, like Saturday evening, so please plan accordingly! Face masks will be required inside Villanova Hall, located at 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA.

The ever-popular Angel Giving Tree will be tagged with gift item suggestions for challenged families in the area.

Ticket Sales

All ticket sales, both online and in-person, will be processed via our online raffle technology. A link can be found on the WOW website at This contact-less approach reduces multiple touch points. A bonus: guests will be able to view a detailed description of each raffle item. The format also allows for a seamless transition to a fully online event should COVID guidelines change. Tickets will not be sold at the door. In-person guests will be able to scan a QR code from their phone and assign their virtual tickets to their selected trees.

Non-Profit Fundraisers On-Site

Other non-profit fundraisers featured at the festival are the Wilmington Community Fund, Boutwell PAC, DECA, WHS Girls’ Basketball, Communications Boards, WHS Service-Learning Class, Special Olympics, and St. Thomas Youth Group. Items sold at these fundraisers will include Wilmington ornaments and hats, poinsettias, chocolate sleds, Wilmington-themed birdhouses and more! Be sure to check the schedule on WOW’s website for dates and times.

Bake sale items will be available for sale on a take-out basis.

WOW will also provide virtual tours, holiday entertainment, tree awards, and live raffle prize winner announcements on our Facebook page – – throughout the week.

Holiday Musical Performances

The virtually streamed performances include but are not limited to the popular WHS Acapella group, Soundscape and a special story read by Mrs. Claus.  Confirmed in-person performances will feature Acoustic Tandem and Elisabeth Hayduk, violinist. Additional performances TBD.
