POLICE LOG for November 13: Wilmington Man Arrested For Assault & Battery; Highway Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, November 13, 2021:

• Anthony W. Green (51, Wilmington) was arrested for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Police responded to a call on Hobson Avenue of a man threatening another man with a hammer. (9:17am)
• A caller reported an older man and a smaller child (7-8 years of age) went into the wooded area behind Avalon Oaks approximately 40 minutes ago. Police responded and but did not locate anyone. (5:41pm)
• Police received report of a vehicle off of the roadway, possibly hydroplaned, on 93 South, prior to Exit 35. Call transferred to State Police. (6:46pm)
• Callers reported an unattended camp fire in the area of Main Street. Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. (10:17pm)
