POLICE LOG for November 12: Bloody Knife Not What It Appears To Be; Reports Of More Than A Dozen Streets Flooded Due To Storm

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, November 12, 2021:
  • A caller reported illegal dumping overnight on First Avenue. Police notified DPW for trash pickup. Caller requested extra patrols. (7:40am)
  • A West Street caller reported she found a knife near the edge of her property. She thought it was a toy knife, and picked it up to throw into the garbage, but she now feels it may be real. She noticed red liquid inside the sheath. Police responded. Knife was a prop leftover from Halloween. (10:01am)
  • Florence Anne Krakofsky (63, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (10:27am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Church Street and Adams Street. Airbag deployment. No one transported to hospital. Both vehicles towed. (3:17pm)
  • Reports of street flooding on Shawsheen Avenue, Nichols Street, Agostino Drive, Grace Drive, Towpath Drive, Chandler Road, Arlene Avenue, Dorothy Avenue, Lowell Street, Carter Lane, North Street, Middlesex Avenue, Andover Street, and Lucaya Circle.
