WILMINGTON, MA — At last week’s School Committee Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Glenn Brand announced that Wilmington High School senior Joey Dynan has received the prestigious Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Academic Excellence Award.
Brand selected Dynan based on his academic achievements, including cumulative grade point average and class rank.
Dynan is in the top 3 of his class. He plays on the high school’s varsity golf and baseball teams, and previously played on the basketball team. Dynan is a section leader in the Marching Band and a member of the Jazz Band. He is active in his church community, serving on the Parish of Transfiguration’s Youth Group and as an altar server, volunteer, and money collection counter at St. Thomas.
The Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents sponsors this annual award at each Massachusetts Public High School.
