POLICE LOG for October 22: Large Crowd At Wilmington Plaza Gathered Overnight; Sheet Metal On Highway

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 22, 2021:
  • Police came across a large crowd in front of GameStop in the Wilmington plaza. Customers were waiting for a new Playstation game coming out in the morning. (1:09am)
  • 2-vehicle crash on West Street. Airbag deployment. Both vehicles towed. No injuries noted. (7:28am)
  • Police notified Verizon of a split pole in need of replacement on Mink Run Road. (12:47pm)
  • Police received a 911 call about sheet metal on the highway on 93 North prior to Exit 31. Police notified Mass Highway. (6:21pm)
  • Police responded to hangup from call box at high school. Police responded and confirmed call was made mistakenly by kids. They were advised.
