Andrew was born on June 10, 1946, in Woburn, MA; he was the dear son of the late Alexander and Anna Roketenetz. Andrew, along with his brothers, were raised and educated in Woburn, MA.

Andrew, along with his brothers and cousins worked for the family business until their dad and uncle’s retired. In the mid 80’s they started their own Waste Systems Company. In later years after his graduation, Andrew’s son Andy became involved in the business and they all became partners; together they continued to run Acme Waste Systems to this day.

In 1968, Andrew, married Joan; the couple did everything together and were truly best friends. Andrew and Joan moved to Wilmington in 1969, where they raised their children. Andrew was a devoted husband and father; he worked hard to provide for his family and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them.

When Andrew became “Grampy” his world became brighter; he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, attended many of their special events and thoroughly enjoyed their trips to Disney.

Andrew was a car enthusiast who had a passion for Old Cars; when not working he enjoyed heading out with Joan to car shows where they would meet up with friends and everyone would have a great time. Andrew and Joan also looked forward to their trips to the Casino just to “try their luck”.

Andrew will be fondly remembered as a hard worker, devoted family man and a good friend to many. He will forever be in the hearts of those he touched.
