Beverly married her “handsome young sailor” Edward Pereira on July 27, 1962; the couple were stationed in several places before building their home in Wilmington in 1968. Beverly loved her new home, throughout the years she had an “open door policy” where all were welcomed and made to feel like “family”. Beverly and Ed, along with their family and friends spent many wonderful years together, they traveled, enjoyed holidays, special occasions and just hanging out together. They also had many wonderful neighbors who were like extended family. In later years, Beverly and Ed, became “snow birds” to escape the New England Winters and all the shoveling; they headed south to Port Charlotte, Florida to enjoy sun, fun, friends and more good times.

Beverly will be fondly remembered for her many wonderful qualities; she was a novice painter who created beautiful paintings that were shared with her family. She was a hard worker and always out and about doing for others. She was outgoing, friendly, kind, caring and extremely giving; Beverly would give you the “shirt off her back”, no questions asked and never expect anything in return. Beverly’s charismatic personality drew people in, everyone loved her and she loved everyone. Beverly will forever be in hearts of those she touched.

Beverly was the beloved wife of Edward M. Pereira, devoted mother of Virginia Manro and her husband Philip of Dunbarton, NH and the late Pauline Lowney.
