Win prizes for your reading and help us beat Tewksbury!

Beginning on October 12, log every minute you read on Beanstack (our reading tracking app) to lead WIlmington to victory. There will be a weekly drawing for a $25 gift card to any Wilmington restaurant of your choosing. Log at least 3 hours of reading and be entered into our Grand Prize drawing for a $100 gift card to any local business of your choosing. Let’s get reading!

Make an appointment with Brad for an hour long session on any tech question you have. If you need help navigating the web, are looking for a new computer, or are confused by your new iPhone, this service will be helpful to you!

VIRTUAL 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group

If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your “Encore Career”, this networking group program is perfect for you. Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. This week’s topic (Oct. 20) is Interviewing Preparation & Strategy.

WCTV Live: Folksoul Duo in Concert

Join husband and wife Leslie Vogel and Fred Simmons, known as Folksoul Duo, for an afternoon of American Roots music. Fred plays trombone and guitar and Leslie plays accordion and keyboard. Their musicianship coupled with their vocal harmonies create a beautiful afternoon of song to be enjoyed by all.

Come read to Thor, a beautiful dog who loves to listen to kids read! Sign up for one 15 minute session per reader.

WML In-Person Programming

Registration is required for most in-person programs. If a program is outdoors and inclement weather is forecast, the program may be held virtually on Zoom or inside the library.  Please check out website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are required required inside Town buildings regardless of vaccination status.
